SEA Welcomes Investment Banking Analyst Andrei Birladeanu Through Co-op Partnership with Drexel University
The Strategic Exit Advisors (SEA) team is pleased to announce that Andrei Birladeanu, through Drexel University’s co-op program, has joined the firm as an Investment Banking Analyst.
Andrei is a dual major in Finance and Management Information Systems at Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business. As a member of Drexel’s Finance and Investment Group, Andrei is committed to honing his financial skills and expanding his knowledge of the subject as much as possible. He is also a member of the Drexel Blockchain Club, where he showcases his passion for technology.
Prior to his role as an Investment Banking Analyst at SEA, Andrei worked at BlackRock as an accounting data management analyst, where he streamlined various financial processes, utilizing technology to improve efficiency and drive client satisfaction for portfolios with billions of dollars in assets. Andrei continued working with BlackRock part-time while pursuing a dual major, full-time. Andrei is a first-generation Romanian from Philadelphia’s Greater Northeast and is an avid automotive enthusiast, traveler, and photographer.
SEA’s partnership with Drexel University was in part inspired by Curt Cyliax, a Drexel graduate and former co-op student. SEA’s goal as a partner in this program is to provide the co-op with real work experience by integrating participants into live deals and prospect outreach. The Drexel co-op experience empowers students to succeed, allowing them to graduate with up to eighteen months of full-time experience in a professional environment.
At SEA, we recognize that meaningful work can extend well beyond the traditional boardroom or balance sheet and we are committed to helping future business leaders succeed. As partners in Drexel University’s co-op program, SEA ensures a learning environment that fully integrates the co-op analyst as a team member. We’re thankful for our seven excellent co-ops we’ve had to date and look forward to the future of the program!
