SEA Welcomes Summer Analysts George Carey and Colman Egan

Strategic Exit Advisors is excited to welcome George Carey and Colman Egan into our Summer Analyst Class of 2023. The SEA Summer Analyst program is a career catalyst for eager individuals looking to advance their careers through guidance, mentorship and hands-on experience with the SEA team. 

George Carey

George Carey is currently a student at Columbia University studying Mechanical Engineering, also having previously completed a Physics degree from Fordham University. In addition to his studies, George has been involved in speech and debate and mock trials, where George has placed nationally in competitions. He has previously performed research in the subjects of quantum field theory and lattice model computation and plans to bring his quantitative expertise to the field of finance. 

Prior to his role as a Summer Investment Banking Analyst at SEA, George worked as a Summer Analyst at Auramet International, a structured finance and institutional advisory firm based in Puerto Rico that finances and consults mining operations in South America, Africa, Canada and the United States. A native of Kansas City, Missouri, George enjoys staying on top of his fitness, playing chess and other strategy games, skiing, rooting for the Chiefs and
spending time with family and friends.

 

Colman EganColman Egan is a Math and Economics major and Theater minor at Lafayette College with studies focusing on financial mathematics and data modeling. Outside of the classroom, Colman is the treasurer for the Club Soccer Team as well as the VP of Finance for the Lafayette Chapter of Delta Upsilon where he has made it his goal to refine the organization’s budget to eliminate financial inaccessibility. Prior to working with SEA, he was an IT Intern at Evolve IP as well as a summer camp counselor at Benchmark School. A native of Berwyn, PA, he likes to spend his time watching movies, playing soccer and gradually improving his chess rating.
