Paying It Forward
At SEA, we recognize that meaningful work can extend well beyond the traditional board room or balance sheet. Our professionals have years of service working in not-for-profits and have volunteered thousands of hours alongside impactful organizations throughout the greater Philadelphia area, and beyond. With our new initiative to “Pay it Forward,” we aim to provide additional financial support for community organizations focused on youth financial literacy, entrepreneurship as well as other organizations aligned with the SEA core values.
As a part of our “Pay it Forward” initiative, we are also offering new ways to financially support important causes of our Clients. Upon successfully selling a Client’s business, we will invest our engagement fee by matching 100% of the Client’s contribution to the charity of their choice. We believe it’s important to support great organizations throughout the region and beyond. It’s our promise to “Pay it Forward”.
Strategic Exit Advisors (SEA) recently donated $500 to continue its support of the Drexel University’s Close School of Entrepreneurship’s growing program through our “Pay-It-Forward” initiative.
Curt Cyliax, SEA Managing Director, says, “We started our Pay-it-Forward program to provide financial support for community organizations focused on youth financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and other organizations aligned with the SEA core values. Clearly, Drexel University’s Close School of Entrepreneurship is a worthy recipient. Over the years, we have hired smart and ambitious students from Drexel. And as an alum of Drexel, it warms my heart to give back when we can. On behalf of SEA, I know our relationship with them will last for years to come and appreciate all that they do.”
“Thank you for your continued support of the Close School. Together, I know that we will continue to move the needle in entrepreneurship education. The Princeton Review, for the first time, has developed a regional rankings system, and Drexel’s undergraduate entrepreneurship program at the Charles D. Close School was ranked 4th regionally for 2022, with our graduate programs ranked 8th regionally as well,” said Donna DeCarolis, Ph.D., Dean, Charles D. Close School of Entrepreneurship.
Strategic Exit Advisors (SEA) recently represented Precision Solutions in its sale to Applied Technical Services, which activated SEA’s Pay It Forward Program. In concert with owner Dan Kendra, SEA donated $35,000 to Precision Solutions’ charity of choice – Mirror of Hope Foundation, of which Dan’s wife, Adele Kendra, is a founding Board Member.
Mirror of Hope Foundation enables students in Nairobi, Kenya to attend and complete four years of high school on a tuition-free basis (free schooling is only available through 8th Grade). The Mirror of Hope philosophy is “A Hand Up Not a Hand Out”, and Mirror of Hope also specializes in vocational training for women and providing essential food and healthcare supplies.
Bob Cahill, a Managing Director of SEA and Drexel alum, says, “We started our “Pay it Forward” program to provide financial support important to both our clients and our community. We chose the Drexel University Close School of Entrepreneurship for its commitment to helping young people become tomorrow’s entrepreneurs.”

Proudly supporter of the Raise the Roof for Homeless event supporting the less fortunate in the Bucks County Community. We were for an event at VELA in Doylestown, where we held the SEA 13th Anniversary Party.
