Norman studies economics and finance at Princeton University. Although Norman is originally from Canada, he grew up in Maryland, and he chose Princeton for its proximity to New Jersey’s best hoagie shop (Hoagie Haven!). Outside of class, he is involved with a pro-bono consulting group, the Sigma Chi Fraternity, and the Cap & Gown eating club. Norman loves to eat, so he compensates by running, playing tennis, and frequently hitting the gym. He’s an avid fan of nonfiction novels and country music, and he thinks The Office is the funniest show of all time. In his next life, Norman would like to be a sitcom writer. He’s thrilled to be interning at SEA and to have the opportunity to experience the M&A process firsthand.
Peter is studying Finance at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He comes to us with a unique background in professional baseball and community engagement in South America. Peter was drafted by the Boston Red Sox out of high school and played seven years in the organization. Toward the end of his playing career, he became involved in mission work in South America, mostly in Ecuador, which is where he eventually met his wife, Grace. Peter is a youth group leader and Sunday school teacher at Grace & Peace Community Church and loves hiking in the Adirondack Mountains, biking, and doing the “Happy Body” exercises. He is interested in pursuing the intersection of finance and community-based programs and is excited to learn more about M&A at SEA.
Rachel is studying Marketing and Media & Creative Advertising at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. Heading to school in the Midwest was quite the change from the East Coast lifestyle, but she adapted quickly and has grown to love the endless cornfields that surround her. On campus, Rachel keeps herself busy by finding the best ice cream shops in town, participating in the American Marketing Association, the IU Club Soccer Team, and Indiana University Dance Marathon, a student led group dedicated to raising money for a local children’s hospital. Rachel has always had a passion to learn more about marketing and working at SEA has brought a great opportunity to see how marketing is an influential component in all fields of business.
